Whitney Houston, dead at 48

Yet another sad moment in this young year, the R&B songstress, Whitney Houston died yesterday. There will never EVER be another voice like hers. Not only has the music world suffered a huge loss, but the entire entertainment industry.

Apple Co-Founder, Steve Jobs, Dead at 56

Rest in Peace to an influence in my life.
The following is a statement from Apple.

"Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."

Steve Jobs resigns as CEO of Apple

Today marks the end of an era. Steve Jobs, the mind behind the iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc., is resigning as CEO of Apple. The position is to be filled by Apple's COO, Tim Cook. Health concerns may be the cause as Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2004 and underwent a liver transplant two years ago. I wish him the best in the future with his health and any other business endeavors.

Amy Winehouse (September 14, 1983 - July 23, 2011)

It's sad to see such a talent gone at such a young age. It's also sad to see that people are so cold, that she is still the butt of jokes on the day of her death. Amy Winehouse, multiple Grammy Award winner, gone too soon at the age of 27.

Elizabeth Taylor, Dead at 79

Born February 23, 1932, Taylor is considered one of the great actresses of Hollywood's golden age. She passed away today, March 23, 2011. She had recently been dealing with various health issues including congestive heart failure. She was an award-winning actress, beauty icon, philanthropist. Her film resume includes Cleopatra, and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.

Rest In Peace Nate Dogg

Born as Nathaniel Hale, Nate Dogg, 41, passed away on March 15th after several years of health problems. There is no official cause of his death, but he has suffered two strokes in the past few years. With hits such as 'Regulators' and 'Area Codes', chances are, he sang your favorite hook. With the voice to turn songs into instant classics, he will be missed, but never forgotten.

Earthquake, Tsunami Devastate Japan

When you can complain about NFL labor talks, gas prices, etc, you don't know how good you have it. Japan is suffering from the effects of an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9.near the east coast of Honshu, causing devastating tsunami waves. The whole pacific area is feeling the effects including Hawaii and California. Above is footage from an eyewitness during the quake.

Don't text and walk. It's dangerous, and it might get you on NATIONAL news. I know how this must feel, and chances are, I would have possibly drowned. lol I hope she doesn't see this and attempts to sue me, basically because I don't have any money...

SMH, WTF, LOL Moment: Favre Busted in Meth Lab Sting

...NOT BRETT! Brett Favre's younger sister, Brandi, 34, was jailed on $40,000 bond after a brief appearance Thursday in a Mississippi courtroom, a day after she was arrested during a methamphetamine bust.


She was among five people arrested Wednesday during a drug raid at a condo in Diamondhead, Miss. About nine grams of methamphetamine — worth about $1,000 — were recovered, and hazardous materials teams had to clear the condo, said Hancock County Sheriff's Maj. Matt Karl.

"She happened to be there and she was arrested along with the others," Karl said.

The singer of such classics as "Square Biz", "Lovergirl", and "Portuguese Love",  has  passed away. She was found dead in here home. This is such sad news. R.I.P Teena Marie. Above is a video of her singing "Fire and Desire".

Fantasia Hospitalized After Apparent Suicide Attempt

Fantasia Barrino, 26, the winner of  the third season of 'American Idol' overdosed on Aspirin and a sleep aid. Her father said that she was doing fine and her manager confirmed that her injuries where not life-threatening. Read the full story here.

A flight attendant ran out of patience on a plane that just landed at New York's JFK airport Monday afternoon, so he allegedly cursed a blue streak over the p.a. system, grabbed some beers, pulled the emergency chute, slid down and ran from the plane.
