Today, I purchased albums from opposite sides of the spectrum, Angles By the Strokes and W.A.R (We Are Renegades) by Pharoahe Monch. Considering I've been waiting on an album by the Strokes for 5 years, I listened to it first, front to back, )it's only 30-some-odd minutes long.) It's good. ...different, but good! This is a totally new sound for them. I'll have to update y'all on Monch, up to track 3, it's bangin' and the guy that rang me up at Manifest said he heard nothing but good reviews... Y'all check these albums out!

Earthquake, Tsunami Devastate Japan

When you can complain about NFL labor talks, gas prices, etc, you don't know how good you have it. Japan is suffering from the effects of an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9.near the east coast of Honshu, causing devastating tsunami waves. First off, in basketball a double-double is double figures two statistical categories. Back to the topic, no lie, coming out of college, I was like "this dude is not gonna pan out at the next level" I'm not too proud to admit I was wrong, Tonight he broke Moses Malone's record(s) of 44 and 51 doubles-doubles. This is the most consecutive double-doubles since the NBA/ABA merger in 1976 Congrats young man, keep going hard, you got two more to catch! Only Elvin Hayes (55) and Wilt Chamberlain (247) have had longer streaks.
